Castiglione della Pescaia
Is an old mediaeval village in the heart of the maremma along the Mediterranean coast. The beautiful and clean sea wins every year the blue flag.
Few kilometres away from the village you can visit Etruscan tombs and the Vetulonian Museum which expounds utensils manufactures and jewels from that time.

Don’t miss the Duomo and the “Fortezza”.
The Fortezza with it’s pentagonal plan is the other gorgeous interesting monument to visit.
The countryside around the village is full of wine producers and some of them are open to public where you can go for wine tasting.

The San Galgano Abbey is about 30 km away from Siena and It is one of the most touristic destinations.
It is at Cistercian Abbey in gothic style of the early 1200.
Unfortunately nowadays we can only see the walls but the in the summertime a lot of music events take place, like representations of classical and lyric music.
Not far away from San Galgano we have the friary convent and the hermitage Rotonda di Montesiepi very famous for “the sword in the stone”.

Terme di Saturnia
Very famous location for the sulphurous waters.
You can either swim in the pool and wellness path, go at the waterfalls, or enter with a day pass and have the access to all the spa zones.
The village of Saturnia is only 5 km away from the thermal zone where you can find nice restaurants and local food shops.
